I just love eating! My partner and friends find me a crazy foodie. When I eat something and it brings a roller coaster feeling on my taste buds, my mind and heartbeat spin tremendously! That tasting moment is filled with full of joy, it’s like a sweet sparkling bomb flowing with high speed through my veins, making me über happy. Are you with me? 

I am not a princess in the kitchen but I love cooking. Think the key drive is just because I love eating. I don’t see food as a primary need because food can bring a delightful experience and happiness. It is comfort food!

How I cook?

I keep it simple & I am creative, especially when I don’t have much time after a long working day. My tummy will not survive and I will start grabbing for any snack I have which is not good.

When I’m hungry it must be simple, fast and delicious! On my non-working days, I may spend more time in cooking. What I always have and use are:

Basic Ingredients

  • Sea salt & pepper mill
  • Extra virgin olive oil, coconut oil, sesame oil
  • Ginger, garlic, shallots
  • White wine, sake wine for cooking
  • Powder spices cayenne, curry, paprika
  • Oyster sauce, soy sauce
  • Thai red curry paste
  • Balsamic vinegar
  • Honey
  • Dried bay leaves, thyme, rosemary, lime leaves, red chilli peppers (in freezer storage)

Kitchen Tools

  • Oven
  • Rice cooker
  • Food blender
  • Food processor
  • Colander, sieve
  • Potato peeler
  • Box grater to grate e.g. cheese (parmigiano) , vegetable (carrots, various type of squash), slice shaver (cucumber). More info on types of graters, click here.
  • Greaseproof baking paper, aluminium foil
  • Quality knife set
